In this episode, I connect with the Bicycle Mayor of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Lanrick Bennett, Jr., who says he's doing this for kids, because they deserve to have a safe and inviting cycle network so that they may experience mobility freedom.

Lanrick wants his children, and everyone for that matter, to be able to ride a bike safely to meaningful destinations across the city to meet their daily needs and so he stepped forward to serve as Toronto's very first Bicycle Mayor. The role is part of a global community engagement initiative run by the BYCS organization in based in Amsterdam.
